Mike and Bill win awards for Automotive Aftermarket Achievement
Olympus is very proud of our President, Mike Brown, and our Vice President, Bill Guinard, as they received awards for their outstanding achievement in the automotive aftermarket.
Mike Brown was named the Barry Breslow AIA Person of the Year. Mike Brown's entire career has been the import aftermarket. As owner and President of Olympus Imported Auto Parts, a company with four locations, 165 people and 70 vehicles, serving 2,500 customers, Mike's philosophy is that the aftermarket, not the OE dealers, should set the standard for quality in parts.
As an AIA board member since 2001 and its 2005-2007 chairman, Mike has set the standard for excellence in service to his association and industry. He has added new programs to AIA and been instrumental in the development of the new AIA website.
Bill Guinard was named an AIA Lifetime Achiever. As Vice President of Olympus, Bill is the head of purchasing and IT, and has been developing the company website, www.forparts.com since 1995. His new comprehensive online catalog has few rivals. By developing direct relationships with manufacturers, Bill has moved Olympus from a three-step to a two-step distribution, passing on value and savings to our customers.
