Warehouse work at Olympus is physically demanding and there is always work to do. While there is not a great deal of “heavy” lifting with most parts weighing less than 25 pounds, the lifting is steady, the work is constant and you can expect to be on your feet throughout the day.

To be eligible for a warehouse position with Olympus,
you must:

  • Be able to lift 75 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Have a high level of accuracy.
  • Be proficient in basic math skills (simple addition and subtraction).
  • It is helpful if you can assist the delivery team with deliveries when we are extremely busy. To do so, you must have a clean driving record with no moving violations and have had your driver’s license for at least 1 year. However, this is not a job requirement.

Pay:

  • $9.50 per hour to start.
  • $14.25 per hour overtime pay for hours worked over 40.
  • Your pay is reviewed each year on your hire date anniversary. At this time, you may receive a pay raise and/or performance bonus.
  • Opportunity for additional pay increases if you obtain high proficiency in the activities of dispatching, processing returns to vendors, driving the big transfer truck, inventory control, sales backup or accounting backup.

Hours:

  • We are open for business Monday-Friday 8-6 and on Saturdays 8-3. Saturday is a normal work day for us. We are not open on Sundays.
  • You are assigned a start time each day and you can expect to be scheduled for at least 8 hours on weekdays and 7 hours on your scheduled Saturdays. While a 40-47 hour work week is typical, additional overtime hours may be required to meet our customers’ needs.
  • Additional overtime pay is earned by employees who serve on the Inventory Control Specialists team. The ICS team conducts inventories one night each week.
